Environetics Celebrates Grand Opening of Delaware Welcome & Travel Center
Environetics’ Principal Hans P. Erdenberger and Project Manager, Gus Arnone, attended the ribbon cutting at the Delaware Welcome & Travel Center on June 18, 2010. Continuing the firm’s relationship with HMS Host, Environetics is proud to have provided full service architecture, interior design and engineering services for this new 42,000 SF facility. The facility houses essential travel amenities including foodservice providers Baja Fresh, Brioche Dorée, Famous Famiglia Pizza, Starbucks Coffee, Burger King, Cinnabon/Carvel, Popeye’s Chicken, and Z-Market as well as retail offerings by Postcards from Delaware, Bijoux Terner and IShades. Built to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards, the building incorporates a number of energy and water conservation features, including geothermal, daylight harvesting, recycled and regional building materials and indigenous and drought tolerant landscaping just to name a few.
